"We have been completing some very interesting work with nurseries who have received a poor outcome following their Ofsted inspection. As we have been very lucky to recruit several inspectors, we feel that this service ensures that setting's receive the most up-to-date and comprehensive service possible. The inspections are referred to as, 'Mock-Up Inspections’, and are completed under inspection conditions. The settings receive a detailed report, and action plan. We then support the settings in addressing the recommendations and actions. The support is either through whole staff training, the development of existing paperwork or through support visits. This has been very successful and I am please to say the settings have all be re-inspected and received a good outcome, with some settings aching outstanding."
