The CACHE accredited and Ofsted recognised Level 3 Award in Preparing to Work in Home Based Childcare (HBCA) is the most comprehensive qualification to help you cover everything you need to become a home-based childcarer, registered childminder, childminding assistant or nanny.
The qualification is also intended to help existing childcare professionals improve their expertise, covering topics from how to work effectively with children in a home-based childcare role to robust advice on setting up a home-based business.
Through our partnership with the Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years (PACEY) you will receive an exclusive 3 months PACEY membership for free during your training, allowing you to take advantage of further training and resources. Through your PACEY membership you will receive comprehensive support and information on childcare, including the registration process for childminders in England. *Free HBCA PACEY membership is not available to existing PACEY members
On completion of this course we hope it will inspire you to continue on your childcare learning journey with further qualifications such as the Early Years Educator Level 3 Diploma. Please be mindful that not all pre-registration childminding courses are regulated qualifications.
